School Tours

We enjoy opening our farm to students of all ages; agriculture is an integral part of our past history and present day living.  There is so much to explore, whether it be the Pilgrims' learning to raise food from the Native Americans or the health benefits of cranberry juice.

Cranberry bogs are beautiful places that teach lessons about raising healthy food, weather, insects, soils, plants, animals, and water. All forms of wildlife thrive here in the fields, woods and wetlands.

Mrs. McCaffrey has been a substitute teacher for K-4th grade in the Taunton Public Schools.  She also visits classes with a slide show and collection of equipment and hands-on exercises.
Mr. McCaffrey graduated from Fitchburg State College and used to teach building construction at Wentworth Institute of Technology.
